How do I search for a specific dispute?

Learn how to effectively search for a specific dispute using helpful tips and techniques to streamline your research process and find the information you need quickly and efficiently.

Should you have a long list of current and historical disputes you may wish to filter the dispute list to make finding the dispute you are looking for simple.

Hidden Columns

It is important to note that when using the Filter on the Disputes List page it will only search on the visible columns. To learn how to show or hide specific columns see this article.

Before starting your search be sure to make sure that you select an appropriate range of dates using the Date Raised selector.

You can choose

  • Today - Shows disputes raised today.
  • Last 10 Days - Shows disputes raised over the past 10 days.
  • Last 30 Days (Default) - Shows disputes raised over the past 30 days. This is the default Date Raised
  • All

The image below shows the options you have by clicking on the drop-down arrow next to the Date Raised selector field. Note that this will use UTC date and time, if you don't see the results you are expecting try increasing the Date Raised range.

Once you have selected an appropriate date raised range simply start typing in the Filter field. This will dynamically narrow down the list of disputes based on the text or number you have typed into the field.

As an example if you wanted to see ALL open disputes;

  1. Select All from the Date Raised drop-down.
  2. Type “Open” in the Filter Field.
  3. Search results will dynamically narrow. Keep in mind that if any other column contains “Open” that will also appear in the list.

The image below shows the Filter field with a value of “Open” and the list narrowed to only those records that contain “Open” within the data.
