Edit a PO Number Format
Editing an existing PO number format works similarly to the process of creating a PO Number format (see Creating PO number format with Format Builder or Creating PO number format with Custom Regex). To edit an existing PO number format, click on the three dot ‘kebab’ menu on a PO format row and select the ‘Edit Format’ option.
Format Builder
If the PO format was created with the Format Builder the edit screen will provide the same functionality as when creating with the builder:
- segments can be added or removed
- the start date and end date can be edited
- the reference label can be updated or removed
- sample PO number formats can be tested specifically against this format
Custom Regex
If the PO format was created with Custom Regex then the edit screen will look and have the same functionality allowing the user to edit the regex statement in the same way as it was originally created:
- the regular expression can be edited
- the start date and end date can be edited
- the reference label can be updated or removed
- sample PO number formats can be tested specifically against this format
Delete an Existing Format
To delete an existing PO number format, click on the three dot ‘kebab’ menu on a PO format row and select the ‘Delete Format’ option. Alternatively, one or more PO format rows can be checked and the bulk delete icon can be clicked to delete more than one row at a time.
