How do I manage my 2-Step Verification (2FA)?

Find out how to securely set up and manage two-factor authentication for improved online security.

To view or modify your 2-step verification preferences, navigate to the Security page under your user Profile settings. Here, you can change how you receive your verification codes, via email or text.

To change your preference, you will answer your security question, provide your current password, and input the 6-digit verification code sent to your new preferred method.

If you ever lose access to your verification method (i.e. you receive a new phone number) and need assistance accessing your account, please contact Program Support (their contact is listed at the bottom of the page). They will help reset your 2-step verification setup.

What is 2-Step Verification?

2-Step Verification, also referred to as 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), is a required security measure for all users. During account onboarding, each user initially chooses to receive their 6-digit verification codes via SMS text message or email to verify their identity at sign-in. The recommended verification method is SMS since it is considered more secure than email and provides a more familiar user experience.
